Supermodel Janice Dickinson reveals she has cancer
Late last year she made headlines as one of the many women who accused Bill Cosby of drugging and raping her back in the early 80’s.
The reality star was diagnosed with the disease on March 12 after her doctor found a lump in her right breast during a routine medical examination. After an urgent mammogram and biopsy Janice was found to have early stage ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) – a common form of breast cancer that
starts in the milk ducts.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Online, Janice choked back tears as she spoke of facing the greatest challenge of her life.
She says:
‘Just two weeks ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, it’s hard for me to say this, but I have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
‘It’s still quite shocking. Today I got very scared… I just get very scared and it hit me. But I am not gonna let that define me, the fear. I’m going to get through this, I’ll be just fine kiddo.’
Janice, 61, known as the world’s first supermodel, says she feels like she has entered a ‘nightmarish dream’ since the diagnosis.

Nigerians attack Abike Dabiri-Erewa after she 'insulted' Nigerian guy living abroad
David Onuoha, a Twitter user had lamented the poor state of security, low wages, and poor infrastructure in the country and asked Dabiri and Buhari why he would come home only for the
former member of the House of Representatives to tweet back and ask: “But who is asking you to come?”
Her reply infuriated a lot of Nigerians but the situation got worsened when another Twitter user called her out and Abike said David’s question was stupid.
Abike later addressed her tweets with an apology and explanation but that didn’t calm nerves as more Nigerians joined the conversation and bashed the presidential aide.

On their latest post they wrote: “Dear Friends, It has been a whirlwind of a month since Ella and I had our burrito. Things have been absolutely crazy but we love our burrito more and more each day,” the post continued.

Suspected suicide bomber who claimed to be a Chibok girl receives treatment in Cameroon- Presidency
The Presidency says that the Cameroonian health and security officials today started the treatment of an arrested suicide bomber who claimed to be one of the 219 missing Chibok girls. The girl was arrested last week Friday while trying to bomb Limani village in Northern Cameroon.
A statement by presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, says the pictures of the arrested suspected bomber obtained by Nigerian officials indicated that the girl was likely a minor, between ages nine to 12 years.
Her accomplice was about 30 years or more, and both spoke only in Kanuri language.
Considering the well-known guidelines regarding the publication of photography of minors, the Federal government says it has forwarded pictures of the suspected bomber to the Murtala Mohammed Foundation for verification by interested Chibok community stakeholders.
The Ministry of Women Affairs, the Nigerian High Commission in Cameroon and other agencies of government are working with other stakeholders to verify the claim.
