Most beautiful face is Nigeria (MBFN) is an annual pageantry event hosted by Zanzy Entertainment with contestants from the 36 states of Nigeria who are each given the opportunity to prove that they indeed deserve the crown of the most beautiful face in Nigeria. The event is the most vibrant pageantry event in the South-South region of Nigeria, and is held annually in the beautiful city of Uyo, the capital city of Nigeria’s fastest-developing state, Akwa Ibom – the land of promise.
Attended by the who is who in the states – government executives, high-ranking political office holders, business men and women, as well as the crème de la crème of the community, not forgetting general lovers and admirers of true beauty. Last year’s edition, held at Monty Suites, Uyo, witnessed a massive turn out such that the hall was filled to the brim. Little wonder why this year’s edition is scheduled to hold at a larger venue – Site De Dome Arena Hall Aka Nung Udoe Road, Uyo – on Saturday 11 June, 2016. The red carpet session commences by 6pm, while the main show kick-starts by 7pm. Tickets are sold in the categories of Single 3k, Couple 5k, VIP 10k and Table for seven 250k The theme of this year’s edition is “Beauty Gives Back”, and it seeks to give back to the community. A pre-show was held last Sunday, 5th June, with the sole purpose of raising funds for the needy. It witnessed a massive turn out, and left everyone wondering if that was just a pre-show. How glamorous will the main event be!
