Building Collapses In Lagos; Five Persons Dead, Many Injured
A five-storey building collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday at Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State, resulting in the deaths of about five persons. As at the time of reporting, five bodies have been recovered, while many others were rescued alive.
Spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency (South West), Ibrahim Faronloye, and Director of Lagos Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe, said they are optimistic more people will be rescued alive.
