In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, he wrote… .

“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
God is wonderful, he blessed me with another beautiful baby 2 days ago, he made it possible for me to sing a new song again, our God is good!
When you are waiting on the Lord for something good to happen, please don’t give up, He will surely answer you. I never knew what it meant to wait on the Lord until he taught me how. Since my first daughter became a year old, I have been praying for another baby, it took quiet a long time before it happened.
During that time, I was worried, delayed periods meant miscarriages to me, my mum wasn’t helping matters, “Obehi is old enough to have a sibling, what are you waiting for? Born them sharp sharp, make you rest once” she had no idea what I was going through, I prayed and prayed, cried and cried, then it happened.
My period was a week late but I was too scared to confirm my status, then I tried my ovulation test kit, it gave me a smiley face ☺ I shouted and rushed off to tell hubby, he said calm down, take this money, he was just giving me a lot of money that morning 😂😂 neither of us knew how much, he told me to go to the nearest clinic for confirmation, as I was driving down, my heart start to beat, I said to myself, I should ve been quiet about this, what if I just raised hubby’s hope for nothing?
God reassured me that because He is King over all, everything is beautiful. As soon as my result came out of the lab, my eyes automatically became xrays, I scanned through the paper in the nurse’s hand from afar and I saw *positive* I asked her from where I was sitting, “positive abi? ” she said yes.
Ha mo’gbe o, I screamed the whole clinic down and hugged her so tight, I gave the nurse money to buy lunch for herself and the rest of her colleagues. You see, when we take in easily, we don’t know what God has done for us, until we start to hear stories of how many women, are trying hard for the same thing you got so easily.
Always be grateful, no matter what, your morning will surely come, keep believing, your testimony will come. All the challenges I had during this pregnancy are long forgotten since my bundle of joy arrived, thank u Lord”
See How A Fathers Curse Made His Daughters Loose 11 miscarriages in 4-Years
Illustrative picture
The love between a man and his wife turned ugly in epic proportions which led to his cursing their two children after he accused her of being unfaithful in their marriage- and caused the hapless girls eleven miscarriages in four years
According to the Star, Bernard Theuri from Maua, Meru county cursed his two daughters on May 2, 2012, claiming that they were not his biological children.
“He threw dust at them and made his declaration. Since then, my two daughters cannot carry a pregnancy to term. This has forced their husbands to separate from them,” said Ruth Mwakachiu, his former wife.
Mwakachiu further explained that the curse made one of her girls miscarry seven times and another four times in her second daughter.
“The curse did not befall my third daughter because I was still pregnant with her at the time,” added Mwakachiu.
In four years, the girls lost a total of eleven children.
Mother and daughters were later kicked out of their home by Theuri who later demanded his dowry back as they were married under customary law. He got it back through the clan elders.
The family drama ended up in court after Theuri was excommunicated from his clan in May 22, 2012 for cursing his children.
He was in court yesterday, Monday, May 30 suing three clan elders; Henry Taitumu, Stanley Mutura and Robert Mutuma who sent a letter to Njuri Ncheke about his removal from any congregation with the intent to defame him.
“He also wants the court to lift his excommunication but two clan elders said he cannot use the courts to lift the ban unless he paid the traditional fines for placing a curse,” published the Star on Tuesday, May 31.
Theuri is supposed to pay with a bull to lift the excommunication and a he-goat to reverse the curse.

Please Advice : My Girlfriend Insists on Wearing Waist Bead When We Want to Make Love
My girlfriend came visiting yesterday and we spent the day together because of the Biafra disturbance. For the past one month or so, there is something about her that i didnt understand.
She traveled to her aunts place at Kwara state and since she came back, she always wears beads of different colours and I have been asking her why but she is not saying anything tangible until yesterday.
She told me that its fashion. but i dont really understand a fashion that will still be hidden under a cloth and why is she wearing 7rolls. i am scared to even touch the bead because i have heard that they may be diabolic.
I asked her to remove it when we wanted to make love but she refused. I had to forget the whole thing because I really dont understand her motive or intentions anymore or who gave her the bead and for what purpose. My friend told me that women use it to trap men and take their destiny.
Pls i want to know if anybody knows what it does and why girls wear this and for what purpose. thanks

Just In : Former President Of Chad Sentenced To Life Imprisonment. See Why
Chad’s ex-ruler Hissene Habre has been convicted of crimes against humanity and sentenced to life in prison at a landmark trial in Senegal.
The judge convicted him of rape, sexual slavery and ordering killings during his rule from 1982 to 1990.
Victims and families of those killed cheered and embraced each other in the courtroom after the verdict was given.
It was the first time an African Union-backed court had tried a former ruler for human rights abuses.
Who is Hissene Habre?
How the CIA meddled in Chad
Habre, who received strong backing from the US while in power, has been given 15 days to appeal.
Survivors from the Habre era welcomed the verdict.
“This is a historic day for Chad and for Africa. It is the first time that an African head of state has been found guilty in another African country,” Yamasoum Konar, a representative of one of the victims’ groups, told the BBC.
“This will be a lesson to other dictators in Africa,” he added.
After he was sentenced, Habre remained defiant, raising his arms and shouting to his supporters as he was led from the courtroom.
“Down with France-Afrique!” he shouted, using a term which is critical of France’s influence in its former colonies.
Throughout the nine-month trial, he refused to recognise the court’s legitimacy, frequently disrupting proceedings.
The ex-president denied accusations that he ordered the killing of 40,000 people during his rule from 1982 to 1990.
His critics dubbed him “Africa’s Pinochet” because of the atrocities committed during his rule.
Survivors had recounted gruesome details of the torture carried out by Habre’s feared secret police.
One of the most notorious detention centres in the capital N’Djamena was a converted swimming pool.
Witnesses said victims endured electric shocks, near-asphyxia, cigarette burns and having gas squirted into their eyes.
Analysis: Abdourahmane Dia, BBC Afrique, Dakar
The verdict will be seen as a major step forward by those who are campaigning for African leaders to be tried on the continent for war crimes.
They have been pushing for a permanent African court of justice to be set up, believing war crimes suspects should be prosecuted on the continent rather than at the Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC).
But some people were critical of the AU-backed court, set up specifically to try him. They argued that it was under Western influence as it had been partly funded by the European Union and US.
However, survivors of Habre’s atrocities did not seem to care who funded the court. They were just relieved that justice had been done, 25 years after his rule ended.
Some of his victims were subjected to “supplice des baguettes” (torture by sticks), when the victim’s head is put between sticks joined by rope which is then twisted.
Gberdao Gustave Kam, president of the special court, said Habre had also committed three acts of rape.
Habre was arrested in Senegal, where he was exiled, in 2013.
Many of his victims campaigned for him to be tried following his overthrow in 1990.
“Today will be carved into justice as the day that a band of unrelenting survivors brought their dictator to justice,” said Reed Brody from Human Rights Watch, who has worked on the case for 17 years and was in court for the judgement.
In 2005, a court in Belgium issued a warrant for his arrest, claiming universal jurisdiction but, after Senegal referred the issue to the African Union, the AU asked Senegal to try Mr Habre “on behalf of Africa”.
In 2013, a court in Chad sentenced him to death in absentia for crimes against humanity.
Who is Hissene Habre?
