Veteran Actor Jide Kosoko has revealed federal government’s plan for the entertainment industry.
The actor noted that the government has taken steps in the right direction for the survival of the entertainment industry in the last one year.
“The feelers we are getting from the government in the last one year point to the fact that it has beautiful plans for the entertainment industry”. He said
He further explained that “The Minister of Information and Communication, Lai Mohammed, has been meeting with the stakeholders in the industry and has confirmed President Buhari’s readiness to put the industry on the road map. My take away from this is that the industry will take a new shape in the next one year.”
Jide Kosoko started his acting career as a child actor in 1964 in a televison production ‘Makanjuola’. He has since then featured in several Nollywood movies of both English and Yoruba genres.
