A woman has gotten herself into trouble after driving straight into a house while allegedly praying with eyes closed.
The woman, identified as a 28-year-old, (unnamed) from Florida, crashed her car into a house while driving.
According to the Northwest Florida Daily News, the woman crashed her car into a Mary Esther house on Monday while praying and driving.
Following the incident, the Fort Walton Beach woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said the woman blew through a stop sign, went through the intersection and rammed into the front of the house.
She tried to back up, but her tires spun in the sand.
The police said she confessed to praying at the time of the incident and had her eyes closed.
She was cited for reckless driving with property damage and fortunately, no one in the house was injured.
