A 32-year-old man was rushed to hospital in New Delhi after breaking his penis during ‘vigorous’ sexual intercourse.
Describing the agonising moment, the man said he heard a loud ‘snapping sound’ and then felt severe pain.
When he arrived at hospital his penis was bent at an odd angle and had turned completely black.
Doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi – who described the case in the journal BMJ
Case Reports – said the man had what is known as an ‘eggplant deformity’.
