This is the moment cops took a handcuffed Azealia Banks into Manhattan Central Booking in New York after she was arrested following an altercation with bouncers at a club on Wednesday.
Trouble apparently started when Azealia showed up to the 'invite-only downstairs party' at Up&Down club without a proper pass and was refused admittance by the bouncers. A source who witnessed the incident told Page Six Azealia was told she needed a stamp to get in,' adding that when Azealia was told to go upstairs and get one she got mad.
'There was a female security guard and a male guard,' the source said, adding that neither recognized the singer, who's rumored to have collaborated with Rihanna on her forthcoming album.
Azealia was reportedly 'screaming at the top of her lungs' and 'cursing,' according to Page Six.
After she was handed a pass by one of the club owners, Page Six claimed the rapper started 'to curse at the guards again, explaining who she was, that she’s on Rihanna’s album.'
The 5 ft 7 Banks then allegedly 'spit in the (female bouncer's) face'.
The source told Page Six that as the bouncers were escorting Azealia out of the club, 'she bites the [female guard]
in the breast, almost breaking her shirt.'
The 24-year-old Ice Princess rapper was arraigned for allegedly punching a female security guard and biting her boob and later released. She posed for cameras and flashed a smile as she left Manhattan Criminal Court.
